One of the greatest area of inquiry in magickal work is that of spell crafting and ritual magic. The "hocus pocus" of movies and tv are often quite different than spell crafting in reality. It's much less about eye of newt and leg of frog and really reflects a focused intention.

You will need 7 candles. One white for the Lady, one yellow for the Lord. One orange for encouragement and attraction, one for yourself according to your astral color, and three red candles for strength and health. You can burn some type of light incense if you like.

To the Celts and many other peoples of the old world, certain trees held special significance as a fuel for heat, cooking, building materials and weaponry. In addition to this however, many woods also provided a powerful spiritual presence. The specific trees varied between different cultures and geographic locations, but those believed to be "sacred" shared certain traits.

As a first step, we should do a physical cleansing of the object, careful to correct every tiny manufacturing defect we might find, as well as dirt or dust it could have. As we do this, we must visualise all the negative energy the object might have leaving it. Once it's free of these, we can move on to the next step, that is the consecration ritual.
