Greetings! What made you realise you are no longer christian if I may ask?

I think I have always known that it is not my true way, but growing up in a christian environment you are not given choices or options.  Everything that is not christian is dark and from satan.  The biggest reason why I have never explored any other path is basically fear of rejection and dissapointing others.  Now I have come to the realisation that I am not happy pretending anymore. I want to raise my kids in a calm environment without the threat of damnation hanging over their heads.  I am tired of doom and gloom.  I want to embrace life, I want to dance in the rain, I want to enjoy food, I want to feel beautiful, I want to LIVE and be ALIVE.
