I need Help !!!!

Hi my name is mantis and I need some help urgently. Where do I start me and my girlfriend are both pagan. A while ago she went for her rieki masters. After her masters she changed all of a sudden it was all bull shit she totally detached herself from every thing. She stared drinking and taking drugs and it finally lead to her sleeping with someone this weekend. This is not like here she has NO emotions what so ever. What is going on?? Was there something wrong with the rieki masters or what I need help ...please

Hi there

I am in no way a rieki expert but the research I have done so far says that it is not a likely. I do not want to say so definetly for everybody experience things differently. What can be for one person a holy experience can be for the next person an episode of hell.
Talk to her and see if you can't get her to go to a pshycologist. something in her must be triggering her behavior and they might be the best persons to figure out what or help her cope with all the emotions she is experiencing.
Most people say reiki is good and that is the end of it though we do not understand it scientificly and there could be aspects of reiki that has not been discovered as yet. I will keep on researching in this field for you and let you know if I find anything interesting.

Peoples responses to reiki vary from person to person. Symbols are very powerfull and can do good and bad. Reiki is still not fully understood even by reiki masters. I will not argue with anyone about this but best suggestion is to take the advise with regards to the psychologist. They will be able to help or at least tell you whats wrong.

Greetings Mantis. From what you've described, I am perfectly certain that what your girlfriend went for was NOT Reiki. Having done extensive research from multiple sources, received Reiki healing on numerous occassions and being lined up for my Level 1 attunement in April, find such a reaction to Reiki impossible. Reiki is a healing energy. It cannot in any possible way be used negatively. Why? Because as soon as you attempt to use it for a baneful, it cuts off - you cannot channel "negative Reiki".

You may search on Google for more on Reiki, as I'm certain you'll find that it is a pure healing energy. What your girlfriend was exposed to is quite certainly something horrendous. The only possible explanation I could fathom is that she had a mental breakdown of some kind - unrelated to the attunement to Reiki.

Firstly, you should in all likelihood take her to see a doctor or psychiatrist. Should the problem be physical, it would be best not to pass it off as something metaphysical or paranormal. It would also be wise to stay with her through this crisis, as she needs your support.

The above is a link to registered and approved Reiki healers here in South Africa. I advise you to seek counselling from those in your area and if advised, healing & 're-attunement'. It can be done and in this situation, if physical/mental examinations yield no results, it is my top recommendation.

Well good new I am going for my reiki course next weekend and cannot wait. From what I have learned about reiki and the attunement it is a wonderful experience. They say that some people do experience flu like symptoms for a couple of days and I would let you know.
