Welcome and thank you for sharing. I think you and your husband are really Blessed especially since he takes an active role in your journey. Mine just always blows and huffs and puffs about how great his powers are and what psychics have told him about what a wonderful Wizard he is... but doesn't even know the first thing about casting a circle or the Elements... I sometimes wonder if he knows what season we're in!

Anyway, enough of me being jealous of you... check out my post about how I go about doing my own ritual. It only involves clearing the room using the Reiki Symbols - maybe it could assist you in creating a Sacred and Protected Space for your own circle. If this still causes reluctance with your hubbie, do not frett! Like Ladyhawk said: there is no hard and fast. As long as it does no harm, carry on!
