Re: The Mood

Stress, Diet, Some big change, any of them could bring on what you seem to be experiencing.

It's the change thing. Major change. I been shifted from Linbro Park to Sandton where now I will be constant supervision, have to start at 8 and leave at 5 instead of 7 to 4... traffic, traffic, traffic. Plus this impacts on my parttime business. ONE good thing, though: I can now leave later for work so I can work in a meditation in the morning before I go to work. Only bonus, so far!

Maybe I should sit and do what Demartini says, and make a list of pros and cons until the pros outweigh the cons....

Re: The Mood

Sounds like a good idea.

That's a lot of change in a short time, it's enough to stress anyone out, complete change in your routine, new environment, having moved to Sandton is like starting a new job and not even having chosen to do so, the stress of your part time business taking being affected... I'd be surprised if all of that didn't phase you.

I'm glad to see that you've started seeing the positive side of things, having time for yourself in the morning is a great thing. Having worked at SAB's Sandton Office I know that at least the office environment itself isn't too bad, and the canteen makes a decent (and cheap) lunch. Theres never enough parking though.

Re: The Mood

Haven't noticed the lack of parking yet - I grab basement parking and it's all first come first serve. The canteen looks very pretty and more like a coffee loungs than anything else, but I pack my own lunch because the last time I lived off canteen meals I gained almost 8kilos... no nononono NO! Never again!

Tell me, have you (or anyone else on the forum *knock knock.... hello?*) heard of Ayahuasca?

Re: The Mood

First come first serve... I guess getting to work somehwrw between 9:30 and 10:00 was why parking seemed like a problem to me .

Ayahuasca is a traditional amazonian medicine brew isn't it? I think they use some kind of vine, not sure what the name is at the moment, I doubt you would be able to find it anywhere here, and importing it is probably not going to be easy since it would probably be classed as a drug.

It has similar effects to that famous herb called marijuana.
