Elford is an adopted child and had a very good relationship with his foster parents. Later in his life he discovered he had been adopted and also met his birth parents with whom he has stayed in contact with even after the deaths of his adopted parents.
He has always felt it his duty to the Universe to "return the favour" by adopting a child of his own... but I have been nervous about it so far. I have a HECTIC temper and am extremely cruel (Moon in Scorpio, as well as many other planets) and I sometimes have violent outbursts - don't worry, though! I have never lifted my hand at anybody except on two occassions to two SNOT dronk p@%*polle!
A friend of his invited us to a dress-up party on Saturday where the theme is "Kabouterland" - so we have to dress as gnomes. I prowled the net yesterday for some ideas on finishing the costumes I started making and the pictures were just TOO cute! Suddenly I felt "broeis" and so wanted a little one of our own. Especially after looking at these photos:

I would LOVE to make costumes for a little one and then join him (we want a boy... blonde, curly hair with blue eyes) by dressing up as well and then be off to a party or Halloween celebration or whatever! I can see myself sitting in front of the naaimasjien (which someone will be giving me as a birthday present, I am sure) and sewing and making pretty stuff... Oh, how I'd love to craft!
And of course our child will be allowed to decide which sports interest him more but Daddy Nico will also make sure he gets a cultural education like the one I didn't have! Ballet lessons, painting, piano, singing...
