Re: Greetings All
Thank you LunaRiver,

and as you say we live in a country that is constantly growing and also one of the only countries in the world (the only i know of) where Wicca is an official Religion protected by the constitution and the bill of rights.

"Life's journey is not to arrive at the end safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways totally worn out shouting, "holy sh*t...what a ride!"

Re: Greetings All

Hi

I just want to say thank you to all of you. I didn’t expect a reply and all of you really helped me. Please really feel good about that because it means the world to me.

After I wrote the response I thought about it allot and figured that I have to let her do what she wants. And my girlfriend also reminded me that Cheyenne is so popular at nursery school, that if she had to go to primary school dressed as a old scary witch she would probably covert the whole school.

Re: Greetings All

Kids are always stronger than what we give them credit for,  the problem with mine though is they love chatting.  Our parent and grandparent do not know that we are Wiccan and our grandparent are one of those couples that goes to church every single Sunday, so imagine how off guard I was when my mother ask me "what is the moon celebration you daughter is talking about?".

I know with some people I would be in for a crusifixtion if they found out what I believe in so I made an excuse of being invited by a friend to see what it is all about and leaving the conversation there.

I wonder what I will be telling them next time?

Re: Greetings All
Hello Everybody,

What you are saying is so true. I follow the Wiccan path, and my daughter is interested in the path as well. She is not as active as I am, but she is still learning every day. Mostly she relies on me for guidance.

My family and friends does not know either, as I do not think that they will understand. My sister is however very open-minded, and she would most probably be the first one I would tell. She already thinks I am "weird" at times. (In a nice way, of course.)

But I enjoy the path that I am on. I know I am on the right path, never doubting it for a moment.

Have a wonderful time being the best you are, and enjoy every moment.

In Love and Light,

LunaRiver
