Guess the Picture May 2006

Hi All

I have found a new picture that will hopefully have you guessing or at least searching for a while. This month there is a bath kit of your choice on the line. Congrats to last times winners (ns. Kindly tell me which spell kits you want and were I can send it to)

This fellow just looks happy and so cute.

Well I searched and so far the closest I could find that looks similar to the picture is what is called a "Mudpuppy" or Necturus Maculosus which belong to the Family Proteidae. Similar as well is the "Waterdog" that also belongs to the same family.

I'm still going to search some more. Maybe I'll get closer to the real thing.

Glad to see you’re on the case already, but I'm afraid you’re on the wrong track so far, it looks a little like a “mudpuppy” but it’s not from the same genus.
