Hi there everyone,
Sorry that I have been so quiet over the last few months. I have been going through some hectic stuff the last few months, getting used to living in a new country and what ot. But everything is on track at the moment, so I hope to be speaking to you all more often.
Now, let me tell you about my wonderful summer solstice at Stonehenge. It was a truly amazing celebration. There were so many people there, I think about 4 or 5 thousaund. Not everyone was pagan or spiritual, but everyone was there in good spirit and it was truly amazing.
We were allowed right up against the stones!!! And it was right there in the middle where things were truly amazing. People dancing and howling in jubilation. There was a contagious cheer that started every so often from the people in the middle of the stones. As soon as one person started, it moved out in a ripple and pretty soon everyone at the festival was cheering.
There were people there from all walks of spirituality; witches, hindus, hare krishnas, rastafarians, all able to express themselves and be free.
At around 3.30 a.m the sky started to lighte in preperation for the sunrise, which was scheduled for around 4.30. But as this was happening, a dark cloud was making its way overhead and and towards the horizon. Then, the heavens decided to come down on us. It was beautiful. People everywhere started cheering and throwing their hands up towards the sky, embracing the rain. It was truly magnificant.
