Temprament:The Gandharvas are extra small faeries who live underground and possess vast musical talents. They will cause humans no harm; but will avoid us if possible.

How To Contact:The Apaches have kept most of their tribal rituals as much a secret as possible; so little is known about the exact way in which they appeal to the Gans. We do know the manner of dress used and that the ritual involves dancing at night.
Where To Find:In the rugged mountains of the American Southwest.
Magical Help:While you are in or near the mountains the Gans can help alter the weather; help you find shelter; protect you from the falls and wild animals; or intercede with deities in your behalf. On the other hand; they can cause bad weather; missteps; falls; or encounters with wild animals.
Temprament:The Gans are vaporous spirits who inhabit the mountains of the North American Southwest. They are neither good nor evil.

Where To Find:Around a blazing fire at your hearthside.
Magical Help:Guarding the flue opening and the house; and all things in the fire including fire-related spell work would be the province of the Geancanach. Catch them in a serious mood to work successfully with them.
Temprament:The Geancanach (Gan-cahn-ock) is pixie-like in appearance; with huge eyes that curve upward on the ends and large pointed ears. They are always depicted as being very small; no more than a few inches in height; and having a playful; if somehwat mischievous; smiles. They have small wings which do not seem functional; and they appear to move from place to place by dematerializing and reappearing quite rapidly. They may be mistaken for flickering lights or lightning bugs.
